At Bennett-Worrallo SeaCat Ltd we pride ourselves on the manufacture of commercial power catamarans based on a full displacement hull design, the heritage of which can be traced back over 40 years. These hulls can achieve speeds of 30Kn or more with either inboard or outboard power.
Having a very fine entry, coupled with full aft sections, the motion on board is steady and predictable, whilst the high bridge deck remains clear of the water even in steep head seas, increasing comfort and inspiring confidence. Those wishing to find out more: CLICK HERE
Carefully designed hull profiles encompassing proven Naval Architecture result in excellent fuel efficiency, especially in the 15 to 20Kn range, and vast flat decks with flush hatches create a safe un-cluttered working environment. These features coupled with Seafish certified construction as standard, produce a vessel which can be relied on day-in-day-out, whatever the weather, whatever the job.
Please contact us with your specific vessel requirements. Anything is possible!.

**NEWS UPDATE (16th Aug 2010)**
After the successful launch and delivery of Wey Chieftain 4 for Grahame Knott of Weymouth, our full attention has turned to the production of Poole Charter Skipper Paul Smith’s vessel to be named ‘Rapid Fisher’.
Rapid Fisher features a full walk-round Island wheelhouse arrangement with a raised deck forward, allowing full use of the 30 metres of available gunwhale space for angling. Powered by a pair of 320Hp Nanni Diesels, we are expecting sprint speeds of around 28Kn and comfortable cruising at 18Kn returning around 2.5 Litres per mile fuel economy for the boat at this speed.
Rapid Fisher was launched from our slipway on Tuesday 10th August. Initial sea trials were completed and confirmed our expectations with a sprint speed of almost 29Kn. Paul took delivery on the afternoon tide of Thursday 12th August and on arrival in Poole said he had used less fuel than expected.
Paul is now familiarising himself with his new vessel before heading off to Alderney for his first major charter in the middle of this month. We all wish him every success.
Also in production is hull number 4 for Plymouth based Ken Turner. Set up for jigging this 10m vessel will be powered by a pair of Nanni 115Hp Diesels and will feature insulated fish rooms amongst a host of custom fixtures and design elements which we at BWSeaCat pride ourselves on being able to produce, whatever the vessels intended use.
Please view the latest build pictures on this site for a more detailed view of progress. As always if you need information on any of our designs we would be happy to discuss your requirements with you.
For further information please call or email either Ben or myself and we will be happy to help.
